Purveyors of rum-soaked, heady mix of 18th-century sea shantyesque storytelling coupled with blistering power metal, Alestorm hail from Perth, Scotland. The five-piece first surfaced in 2008 with their debut album Captain Morgan's Revenge, introducing the wider world to pirate metal on tunes such as Nancy the Tavern Wench and the barnstomping Drink, setting the scene for their unique brand of buccaneering bacchanalia.
