Disease of Perception / Cowboy Mouth

Closed September 28, 2014

The story of unaltered, unfiltered, f**ked up love is relatable to any soul who has ever felt the fiery stings of intimacy and attachment.

Why See Disease of Perception / Cowboy Mouth?

Written in 1971 by Sam Shepard and Patti Smith, Cowboy Mouth is a tale of violent, visceral love that knows no boundaries, no restraints, and no reality. The raw passion of the love affair between Shepard and Smith comes to life through their sinful characters Slim and Cavale, who fatefully meet one day when Cavale decides to kidnap Slim off the streets with an old .45, determined to make him thee Rock and Roll Star.

Theatre Hera is proud to present this burning, quick-tempered piece to you September 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th at The Box Theatre.
