David Archuleta first came to attention in the 00s on American Idol, where he wowed the judges in his audition with a cover of Waiting on the 'World to Change' by John Mayer. Since then he has released multiple albums and won multiple awards including GLAAD Media Awards 'Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist' in 2024.
