One of the indie world's most recognizable and respected figures, multi-instrumentalist St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark) carries on the legacy of heroes David Bowie and David Byrne by bringing together melodious pop and avant-garde experimentation.
Each of her releases has been met with a tidal wave of critical acclaim and growing commercial success, and she recently branched out into filmmaking by directing a segment of the horror anthology XX. Oh, and she can shred with the best of them. Among her best known numbers are 'Roslyn', 'Cruel', and 'Laughing with a Mouth of Blood'.

St. Vincent in Dallas (The Bomb Factory)
St. Vincent put on a terrific show in her hometown last night at The Bomb Factory. The
sellout crowd was alive and into the music and Annie was at the top of her game. She
adhered to the same setlist she's been using all tour, but infused each and every song
with energy and electricity. It was obvious she enjoyed performing in front of family and
friends in Dallas. And the lack of a backing band/backing tracks did not hinder the show
...for me, at least. And it didn't look as though it bothered anyone else. If anyone left
early it couldn't have been many, because the place was packed from the start of the
