It all adds up to a mature, refined and expressive record about grief, loss and self-reflection which, at its (frequent) peaks, is one of the most affecting albums you'll hear all year.

Hailing from Montreal, Canadian singer-songwriter Patrick Watson blends cabaret pop, classical music and indie rock with influences ranging from Jeff Buckley to Pink Floyd. Forming a band under his own name in 2007, he went on to win the prestigious Canadian Polaris Music Prize for his sophomore album Close To Paradise and has since released five more albums, the latest being 2022's 'Better In The Shade'
Hitting the road in support of the best-selling album, Watson brings fresh new material to North America as part of the tour. The undercurrent of his new music positions the listener in an ocean of emotion, where the waves of Watson's personal and intimate lyrics and emotive vocals carry them through a journey from dark to light. Loss, grief, acceptance, and hope wash over in one of his finest offerings yet.
