Homayoun Shajarian, son of the legendary Persian singer Mohammad Reza Shajarian, has introduced elements of western music into his classical repertoire to create a style that has proved alluring to mainstream and alternative audiences alike.

One of the most well known artists in Iran, Homayoun Shajarian, will perform his captivating vocals in Toronto, Canada. The musician has music in his blood, with his father being world renowned and critically acclaimed Iranian classical singer, Mohammad Reza Shajarian.
Homayoun Shajarian has been praised for his dedication to learning the Persian hand drum, the Tombak and Persian traditional vocal. This training can be seen in even his most recent works, he has previously joined his father on his world tour, supporting him by playing the Tombak.
Shajarian has gone on to perform worldwide in iconic venues including the Royal Festival Hall in London, the New York World Music Institute and Paris Theatre, produce six solo albums and become a pioneer of Iranian music.
