Hardcore punk band Beartooth are breaking in the new year hard and fast with a huge North American tour. Joining them are fellow rockers The Plot In You, Invent Animate and Sleep Theory. Following the release of their much anticipated new album, The Surface, the band will kick off the tour in their home state of Ohio, and wrap it up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Beartooth came into existence in 2012 when founder Caleb Shomo started writing his own music while he was a member of Attack Attack! After leaving the band Shomo created Beartooth as a casual project to just have fun with. The band quickly moved from playing fans' living rooms to taking the stage at the infamous Warped Tour.
