Why See Knishes 'n' Grits?
A Night Dedicated to Some of the Best Artists in Jazz and Blues
Knishes 'n' Grits sees a group of fantastic singers take on the sounds of jazz, blues and soul. Toronto's Greenwin Theatre will pay homage to the remarkable music of artists including Barbra Streisand, Sammy Davis Jr., the Gershwins, Irving Berlin and more.
On the night, singers Thom Allison, Micah Barnes and Jackie Richardson will all take to the stage performing some of the genres' greatest hits. Canadian native Micah Barnes rose to fame with the bands Loudboy and The Nylons, Jackie Richardson has been singing in her church's choir since the age of seven and Thom Allison dazzled in his performances on Broadway's Priscilla and Queen of the Desert.
