The Strokes Poster

The Strokes

May 20, 2019

It's been six years since The Strokes released their last album and 18 years since they released the legendary 'Is This It.' Yet, the band's mark on rock and the music industry as a whole is far from being wiped off. The band will take Toronto's Budweiser Stage for one of their first performances of the year in anticipation of a 'global comeback'. (!!)

Florence and the Machine have returned! After a hiatus that left fans bereft, Florence Welch's soulful vocals made a comeback with the single Sky Full Of Song, ahead of a June release for new record, High as Hope. Fans of the British chart-toppers will not be disappointed with this comeback, as Florence's eye-boggling outfits and incredible vocals are here to stay along with their Kate Bush-esque pop-rock.

The 1975 are back and better than ever for 2019 with their third album, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships and a brand new tour! The indie four-piece encapsulate all the joy, heartbreak and hate of growing up in their 90-esque electro-pop sound, with their breakthrough album I Like it When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet Unaware Of It sounding like a long-lost soundtrack to a John Hughes movie.

The indie four piece are back out on tour, bringing with them the witty songs, sartorial elegance and accessible style that makes them continually popular. This year sees them hitting the North American road in support of their fourth album, Father Of The Bride.

Don't miss a rare live sighting of the one and only Adam Sandler as he dusts off his wry observations for a solo comedy tour that'll have you rolling in the aisles. A stalwart of the 90s comedy scene, Sandler rose through the ranks to become one of Hollywood's most prolific comedy actors and producers. He's sure to have a special guest or two up his sleeve, so expect a brim-filled show of comedy legends.
