MIND. BLOWING. PERFORMANCE!!!!!!

If you enjoy Ludovico's work then you're in for a life-altering experience hearing him live. L.E. & his band captivated the audience from start to finish - I blinked 5 times, max & cried 5 times, min . There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I didn't enjoy!! It wasn't just about the music played (and there were instruments I've never seen before) but how it was played. Every note had depth, feeling & movement. This isn't your granny's stereotypical classical music. In fact, if you don't like classical music this is the man that'll change your mind. My description is so poor because it literally transcends words. Hands down the best performance I've ever seen & I guarantee as long as he comes to HTX I'll buy tickets.

A MAGICAL MUSICAL JOURNEY

I was excited to see him since I recently discovered his music. The composition of blending all the sounds in a way that made one feel like you were floating feelings through your heart and soul. It was remarkable how he had so much control over the flow yet each note seemed deliberately blended to sound like waves of energy that came straight from his brain to his fingertips and into my soul. The audience all seemed mesmerized and deeply felt his desire to convey peace, harmony, high energy, just all that life is. A special musical experience. Now how do I keep that pure energy running through my soul. The theatre was amazing. Not sure how they got the unique blend of the sounds of all 6 musicians in a perfect way. Made me want to run out and buy a top stereo system. Seats were good but for this show would have been best to sit behind the stage so you could see his expression while playing. But it did create a breathtaking moment when he faced the audience. Overall an A+ event.

LUDOVICO EINAUDI CONCERT REVIEW

I first heard LE’s music watching the Olympics, women’s figure skating. One Olympian skated to “Experience.” I was mesmerized by this music. So, I first bought LE’s CD, “In a Time Lapse” and fell in love with every piece of music, especially “Burning.” I then bought 3 more of his CDs. I can only describe Ludovico’s music as hauntingly romantic and filled with emotion. I would love to see him play in Chicago again!

LUDOVICO IN DALLAS 6/22/2022

I am so happy that my husband and I were able to attend this concert. Ludovico was awesome to watch and he appeared so grateful and appreciative of his audience, his music amazing as always and just enchanting in person. I could only hope for some closer looks at the stage performance but not sure if that would be distracting to the performers. Loved it overall but would love for some more close ups of the performers in particular the maestro. The opera hall overall feels very tight with regard to the seating, June in Dallas was sweltering and they need to consider this with regard to airflow.

AN EXPERIENCE

There were many upsides to this show, some improvements could have been made I think but the staff did their best to ensure that individuals were experiencing the best of the show. I was moved to tears, and fortunately, my seat mates had some tissues on hand.. I loved this show, was looking forward to a ATL fox publish of the show, as filming was not allowed. Thank you Eunadi, we came from South GA to see you and were so excited to do so.

STUNNING SOUNDS

I was aware of Einaudi's music through first hearing him on SPA XM radio, and decided that if he was ever in the area, I would love to go to a concert. I was not disappointed. His range was vast, and the music lets your mind travel and get in touch with imagery and energy. I do admit that the beginning couple of intense, energetic pieces sounded like space ships landing and I thought if this is what the whole concert will be like, I'm probably not going to stay. But then there was a really long piece that showed his sensitivity and tenderness of his piano playing, that were meditative, dreamy and reflective, and there were others as well. Overall, I enjoyed the concert and was glad I went. You could tell that he was embodying the music and the other musicians were perfectly in sync with him.

NEARLY WALKED OUT

I fell in love with Einaudi's music about two years ago and nearly wore out my laptop playing Einaudi tracks & albums. When I discovered he was performing in Costa Mesa, I gave myself a birthday gift and bought tickets for my wife and me. My anticipation grew as the concert date drew near and I finally was able to settle in to my seat to listen to the Maestro. When the performance finally started, I couldn't believe how *horribly* the instruments had been mic'ed... the base and percussion dominated the piano. Don't get me wrong... I have an affinity for the baseline in music and love savoring the rhythmic themes and motifs that are to be found. But in the Costa Mesa performance, it was all out of wack. Einaudi was drowned by his accompanists. Thankfully, my wife encouraged me to give the concert a chance: as the play list progressed, there was more Einaudi and less percussion and rhythm section. Bottom line, my favorite living performer-composer was done in by his sound technician
