Great and very entertaining. Much funnier than expected. Production is top notch and the cast are great especially the actress who plays Anne Hathaway who is beyond belief . Would recommend .

"I WANT IT THAT WAY"! JULIET COMES OUT ON TOP!
Awesomely entertaining, the tale from Juliet's point of view (and perhaps Shakespeare's wife's too...) Great singing, dancing, all around performances from the excellent cast, with a fresh take on 90's power ballads and pop songs. Move over, Romeo - here comes Juliet, because as she sings, "I want it that way"! Totally enjoyed this matinee performance on July 2nd, and the Toronto cast knocked it out of the ballpark! Will see it again soon!

PHENOMENAL
&Juliet is a phenomenal play. From the actors to stage production , there is nothing lacking. This play is highly entertaining and the actors truly professional.
The artful writing encompasses and deals with gender issues and sexuality in the 21st century and conquers the wall.
Everyone needs to see this play

POST-PANDEMIC BLISS
Is this show cheesy? Yes! Is this show another take on “what if”? Yes! Is this show yet another “jukebox musical”? Yes! Sure, if you want to be critical. What this show is at every level, is talent - talent - talent! It’s a show that found me smiling from start to finish. It’s a show that heard me repeatedly laugh out loud! It’s a show that exemplifies the strength of finding your own voice and place in the world and embraces choices. After two years of pandemic I felt joy and laughter and a sense of community. I loved this show probably like none other. The actors/dancers/singers/musicians are absolutely amazing! Go see it - have fun - laugh and mostly, feel joy!

Very timely with how dei forward it was.

A JEWEL OF. PLAY!
This is fabulous entertainment! The voices were so strong and emotionally effective. Ann Hathaway and Juliet had perfect Broadway style voices that soared throughout the theatre. It was fast paced, witty, very amusing and inclusive of race and gender. The costumes were adorable; the choreography superb! Perfect for all ages.

JULIET
We all loved it and well all thought it was one of the best musicals ever. Rachel Webb as Juliet that afternoon was fantastic. We had so much fun singing along. So funny and clever and entertaining. All the actors, singers, dancers were awesome. We haven't stopped talking it about it. My fave was Romeos comeback to "its My Life" The message about being true to yourself finally got this senior up on her feet. Did I say we loved it?

OH MY GOODNESS - WHAT A SHOW! EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!
The set was so fabulous it took my breath away, and the blast of energy - dancing, singing and frolicking was spectacular. The acting was superb with a lot of humour, and a hugely creative storyline. The music was terrific! The direction, the producing, the costumes, the choreography! WOW!!!

I LOVED IT!!!!!!
I knew I had to see this show as soon as I saw the trailer on YouTube and for an entire 2 and a half hours this incredible cast ROCKED the Princess of Wales Theatre with a high energy spectacle that had everyone singing out loud from the first note all the way to the breathtaking finale!!!!! It was so amazing that I went back and saw it again 3 weeks later!!!!!!

JULIET SOARS
What an unexpected treasure! Loved the dancing, music, and singing. The actress playing Juliet was fabulous! What a voice! Only 2 notes of critique-1) the understudy playing May on July 8, 2022 had weaker acting, presence, and singing compared to the rest of the cast and 2) they used the word shit and shitty too often. I do not mind swearing and quite enjoyed the couple of f bombs that were dropped in the show. it's just shit was wayyyy over used. How about finding some other cussing rhyming couplets- maybe use the word sucky and sucks instead as one example?

FUN. BEST JUKEBOX MUSICAL I HAVE SEEN
The voice talent here is impeccable. And it’s a spectacle. I really enjoyed.

NO CHANCE THIS IS GOING TO BROADWAY
I thought the promos for this looked incredibly cheesy but decided to buy tickets when Betsy Wolfe and and Stark Sands joined the cast as they are incredible. I truly don’t know how they signed up for such a cheesy show given that they have been in gorgeous shows such as Waitress and American Idiot. Maybe I’m biased, but I’ve never enjoyed a jukebox musical, and always find them incredibly cheesy, I felt the same about Moulin Rouge the musical which basically made a mockery out of a gorgeous movie. It’s fine for tourists and others who just want to dance and see lights and costumes, but anyone looking for a moving or original Broadway experience would not enjoy this show. I wish I heard Stark Sands sing more. Betsy Wolfe was amazing as always, and Lorna Courtney did have an incredible voice…wasn’t expecting much though based on the trailer, I guess it’s cute for a fun night out but I wouldn’t go see it again.

MINDLESS ENTERTAINMENT
A delightful piece of theatre for preteens and those that have the mind of one. For those looking for a good story, depth or art turn elsewhere. This is candy for the masses and makes one question the depth of the ordinary man (or woman).

BEAUTIFUL VOICES
If this show makes it till August I will be suprised. Everyone has a beautiful voice but the show itself is disconnected, predictable and the second half is boring. May have receievd a 3 but the placed people wooping and trying to start several clap alongs that did not land and made almost 3 hour show super annoying I wanted to love it because of the Shcitts Creek creator.

TYPICAL JUKEBOX MUSICAL
I am surprised they are still making jukebox musicals, as they often play into every stereotype under the sun, and &Juliet is no exception unfortunately....The cast was very talented but the storyline worked too hard to make the songs work. Baby One More Time took my breath away but it went downhill pretty quickly after that...There are ways to make funny musicals that aren't corny (Book of Mormon, Six the musical, Legally Blonde The Musical...for some examples), but this one missed the bill for me...As another commenter stated, Stark Sand and Betsey Wolfe are quite prominent and talented stars, and I feel their skill is wasted here...
It's not going to win Nobel prizes or Pulitzers, but it will keep you entertained for two and a half hours.
If you think that there couldn't possibly be room for another jukebox musical in London then you'd be very wrong as & Juliet storms into the Shaftesbury Theatre with the music of Max Martin in its clutches.
