$50 FOR A BUSKER!?
Support from Gabrielle Shonk was amazing. Those that missed her performance really missed the zenith of the eveningt. From then on the night went downhill faster than the German bobsled team. 2nd 'band', The Elways, or four, annoying supply teachers living out their midlife crisis in the face of glaring indifference. EVERYTHING they did was annoying. They could play but had no songs. Sometimes the show doesn't have to go on. Sometimes an apology, a refund and a promise to come back another day works much better. I paid $50 to see a band not to see Chris Carrabba busk a few tunes in a half arsed way. Playing on your fans devotion is not cool. They would have lapped it up no matter what. Apparently your truck broke down, so go hire some equipment. I'd gladly watch Nick Drake or John Martin perform an acoustic set because their songs were crafted to be performed acoustically. Dashboards songs were crafted to be performed by a band. Tonights performance came across as sub-Ed Sheeran
