A special one-night-only performance to celebrate the maestro's illustrious career!
Indian music maestro and film composer is making a rare overseas appearance at Toronto's Air Canada Centre this Spring, performing works from his illustrious career. The living legend is an icon of the South Indian cinema scene, having composed over 6500 songs for over 1000 predominantly Tamil films. His latest North American tour celebrates this monumental achievement and features an accompanying team of 50 musicians.
The veteran composer is a master melody, creating his own distinct cinematic sound by fusing western classical music and symphonic orchestration with the Indian folk tradition and instrumentation. Lovingly titled Isaignani, which translates to musical genius, by legions of fans around the world, his soaring symphonies speak right to the heart, transcending culture, creed and language.
