Please be aware that this is an independent production of the well known fairytale of The Little Mermaid by an Ontario production company. This show is not linked in anyway to the Disney film or their stage production of The Little Mermaid.
Following the big success of Snow White last year, it's time for THE LITTLE MERMAID to receive the Petty Pantomime treatment. True, she still might be wet behind the ears, but this show promises to flood your funny bone with more local references than Rob Ford has protestations of innocence.
Vastly different from the sugar-fest that was the Disney movie, Petty and co went fishing from the original source himself; Hans Christian Andersen.
2013 marks 18 fin-omenal years at the Elgin, however this is Petty's first take on "Mermaid". He'll of course be performing, however not as you'll expect him to! The last we heard, he was water-wrestling the show's producer to win the coveted role of The Little Mermaid's evil nemesis....
Petty will also be joined by regular Dame Plumbum.
