NOT ELTON’S FAULT, BUT STILL, AFTER 3 YEARS OF WAITING..

We bought tickets for the farewell tour 3+ years ago. Round 1, cancelled due to covid. Rescheduled, cancelled again, rescheduled, Elton GOT covid, rescheduled again. Finally it takes place at Globe Life Field. First off, parking: A mile away and $55 just to park in their lot. We had Field seats next to the soundboard. No one (including security) could give us clear directions how to get down to the field. We had walk the entire perimeter and go down several flights of stairs, only to emerge on the wrong side of the field. No bathrooms, without going up four flights of stairs and walking halfway around the entire arena. The PA was capable. My SmaarT RTA showed serious coverage down to 36Hz which should have been astounding. The line arrays were well tuned and had boatloads of dynamic range. The rest absolutely sucked. 1 second plus echo muddied everything to the point you couldnt’ even tell what the song was. Worst acoustics of any venue, ever. Utter Waste.

DREADFUL ACOUSTICS

Seeing the icon was definitely an experience But the acoustics were so bad lyrics were indecipherable and sound was bombastic and muddy at best. Very disappointing

SOUND DISTORTION AT CHASE FIELD

It was the worst ever. Absolutely horrible, gave my wife and I a horrible headache. We left after 1 1/2 hours of pure torture.

1.0 star rating Rob from Los Angeles, California

DODGER STADIUM - HORRIBLE SOUND

What a waste. The sound was extremely over amped to the point of distortion. Could not hear Elton sing at points. Horrible. Horrible. Such a crappy way to go out. Seen Elton several times over the years and it was always amazing. Tonight was simply hideous.
