I saw this play in London with my 3 children (two teenagers and a
10 year old). We absolutely loved it. The story is something
everyone can identify with even if you're not a horse person (I'm
certainly not). The horses are incredible, the acting superb, the
costumes perfect. We were mesmerized and can't wait to see it in
Toronto!

INCREDIBLE THEATER
Saw War Horse in London November 2011.Moved me to tears. The horse/puppets are amazing, the story is touching and it is unforgettable theater, can't wait to see it aagain.

VERY INNOVATIVE AND ENTERTAINING
My wife and I saw WarHorse opening night in Toronto. While I went in a bit skeptical of how they would pull off the horse puppet task (and are puppets really puppets when they are 18 hands high?), that skepticism soon dissolved. What followed was the most interesting and entertaining evening we'd had in quite a while. The other animals are also great, especially the farmyard goose and the other birds. I'd recommend this show for just about anyone, although it might be a bit scary and noisy in spots for kids under 6 or so.

WARHORSE TORONTO = MAGICAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE!
My wife and I attended the first preview for WarHorse here in
Toronto. We were astounded by the beautiful puppetry. You
simply forget horses are being manipulated by puppeteers. It's a
wonderful show, with fantastic performances by the entire cast.
I will take my nieces to come see it during the later part of the run.
I agree though I wouldn't bring anyone younger than 6 to the
show.

AMAZING
I have seen many plays and War Horse is by far the best. Soon after it begins, you forget they're puppets and you realize they actually have life and feeling. Every emotion is covered in this wonderful play. I saw it on Feb. 18 in Toronto. Will definitely travel to Toronto to see it again.

I LOVED THIS SHOW!
I was blown away by this show. I went into the
theatre not expecting very much, I didn't quite
understand the hype. Within the first few minutes of
the show, I was hooked! This is definitely a must
see production.

FANTASTIC!!!!
I am an old horse riding instructor and trainer and I loved it!!!! They were so spot on, I couldn't believe it. Even after seeing the movie, I was at the edge of my seat the whole time!!! Fantastic work!!!!! I would definitely see it again if I ever get another chance!!!

THE VERY BEST I EVER SAW
It was a great show. First time in my live (I'm 66) I cryed at a Show. I saw it in Toronto before Christmas time 2012. I'll never forget that great musical.

MY FAVORITE PLAY!
No other play has affected me nearly as much as War Horse had when I saw it April 4th, 2012. The puppetry is beyond fasntastic, and as is the story, though simple, as well as the stirirng music. I hope WarHorse makes another return to Toronto!

SAW IN LONDON
The plot is thin but the horses are so amazing you will start to
believe they are real and you become emotionally involved
with their character

DISAPPOINTING
Brilliant puppetry and staging and the little girl was excellent,
but I'm afraid that the acting left a lot to be desired. It was
thin, wooden, unbelievable, and the accents were atrocious. I
kept thinking we were in Ireland instead of England and
France. So sad that a superb technical production is let down
by the actors. They really should be better than this.

WARHORSE TORONTO
Compared to the London production this was very disappointing.
In London the cast speak in German and French when behind
enemy lines and here they speak in English with phoney German
and French accents, which dilutes the power of the play. Because
of this, the acting is not very good and other than the puppetry
that still works to a certain degree, I would not bother seeing it
here. If you have a chance to see it in London, do so as regrettably
I find little to recommend the Toronto production.
