AMAZING PRODUCTION

The 5th time I've seen the Phantom and I was not disappointed. This production although different was still outstanding . The cast was terrific and I did not want to see the performance end! Loved every minute of it!

ALL IN ALL, AMAZING!

First off, I just have to say that Cooper Grodin (Phantom) has the voice that will warm the cold off of your frostbitten cheeks and melt your heart into a puddle of pure satisfaction. That man can sing! The rest of the cast did not fall short. Julia Udine (Christine) is very talented and likable. The choreography was impressive, the singing was phenomenal, (although a bit enigmatic at some parts), and the set was unbelievable. The small changes made to the plot are refreshing and entertaining. However, I did not feel a strong emotional bond between the Phantom and Christine, and between Christine and Raul. (Ben Jacoby). I didn't feel as if Raul and Christine passionately loved each other, or that Christine thought of the Phantom as anything else but a creep. Also, for a Phantom newbie, like my fiancé, some parts were confusing. I had to explain during intermission. Overall, a fantastic play! My sister went with her middle school choir, she loved it! I Recommend this for your family!

PHANTOM JANUARY 22, 2014 FIRE THOMAS THE USHER!

Theatre was beautiful, front door staff was friendly. Needed Handicap access but none, this was a problem. Thomas, one of the ushers was RUDE! He spoke to everyone like they were a child and as he put it "getting on his last nerve". He yelled as patrons reached to pick up a Playbill, "Put those back, PUT THOSE BACK!" " This is NOT a buffet you do not help yourself.". He was impatient with everyone. I suggest if he doesn't like working with the public he chose another profession! Our seats were on row two of the Mezzanine and right by the stairs, so we had no choice but to hear him rant on and on! Visiting from TX I will say most other New Yorkers were friendly an d hospitable but Thomas left a sour note in our head! Sorry Thomas but your need to be fired! PHENOMANIAL PHANTOM

I brought my daughter for her birthday and two friends that had never seen a play. It was wonderful and gave you goose bumps. The costumes, music, and special effects were spectacular! I would highly recommend this play. Of course, my favorite was "The Music of the Night" How the Phantom disappears is magical.

NOT AS ENJOYABLE AS PREVIOUS VERSION

Sound let it down for me, vocals were drowned out by the orchestra and when you could hear Them they were too harsh. New set was interesting and clever . If you saw the last production in Chicago you will be disappointed.
