ACTOR PLAYING WILLY WONKA LAST NIGHT (9/22/18) AMAZING!

I was surprised with tickets to the show for my birthday! I was so excited to see the show and it was awesome! The casting was perfect, loved how it puts a modern spin on the movie. A lot of kiddos in audience and I was so happy to see them and how much they loved it! A show for all ages and all people, come for a hockey game one day see the show the next? Thank you to everyone, beautiful day for myself and my fiancé.

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

I have been looking forward to seeing this play for months. I was not disappointed. I loved every second of this candy land. Noah Weisberg did an amazing sensational job. I could see him play Willie wonka in a movie. His character was hysterical and charming. He can sing n dance too!!! The only thing I would recommend to the directors is add chocolate smell in the air. This play brought back wonderful childhood memories. Thank you.

ACTORS ALL GREAT, SETS VERY WEAK IN 2ND HALF

Saw the matine on say 10/6, All performances were very good, music was good too. But the sets were very poor especially in the second half. They relied on video animations and they all fell very short. Also Willy seemed very pale in makeup. Show was fun but slow at times too. Wonky factory was really stretching your imagination..needed more Think kids above 8 would enjoy.

NOT FOR KIDS ONLY!

Start your holidays off with wonderful Wonka wonderland of talented actors who sing and dance into your childlike heart. I love musical theatre but my husband doesn’t and he smiled ear to ear the entire evening! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory deserves a 10!!!!

PURE IMAGINATION!

Was so looking forward to see this after buying tickets, and was not disappointed! It really was a world of pure imagination, and then some! Perfect for all ages - I even saw the inner child coming out of the oldest of generations.

WORLD OF NO IMAGINATION

I normally don't come out to write reviews, but this was so bad I couldn't keep quiet. I subscribe to Broadway in Chicago and was so excited that this was going to be part of the package thinking this was going to be an amazing spectacle. After dozing on and off in the first half, I wish I stuck to my gut instinct to leave after intermissions with the others around me, but I had high hopes that the factory would've been good and fun to watch. Boy was I wrong. The best part is the Chocolate room where everything is edible, and it was a total let down with VERY little to be desired. The characters left me with a "WTF" look on my face after each introduction. The mom and family were cringe- worthy. The only person that was trying to carry the show was Willy Wonka. I would've gladly changed out my ticket for a 2nd showing of Tootsie. I guess I'll stick to the original movie.

ENTHRALLING Exciting unmissable

As the lights fade and the fuelled giggles are heard, I realize that a Roald Dahl fan will forever be young at heart!

What could possibly go wrong? As the lights fade and the fuelled giggles are heard, I realize that a Roald Dahl fan will forever be young at heart! In this marvellously colorful production, Charlie Bucket reminds us that it doesn't matter where you come

From the beginning of the pounding percussion line, the energy in the theatre was palpable. I've never felt anything like it!
