A ROCK CONCERT MEETS THEATER: MATCH MADE IN HELL.

Hope you get the sarcastic pun of my review title LOL. If you are thinking this show might be a story of suttle laid back elegance with a neat tidy story line than it may not be for you. That is soooo not what this show is about If your seeking a CRAZY, ROCKING great awesome wild concert like show with explosive force than you will LOVE IT! For me always being one who loves rock concerts, this for me is the best theater production I have ever seen. It combines everything I love. Classic rock, lots of great forcefull thunder, great acting & great special effects. Love when the car goes into the pit. Love when things that get smashed just float in the air. The singers were so awesome. I wish the show was running longer as I just saw it on Nov 27. If it ran longer, I would see see it again in 2018. So I would tell everyone, GO SEE IT!!! I give it a 10!!! Bravo to all the actors & actresses! This show is a MUST SEE!!!!

JUST AMAZING!

Speaking from someone who was never around during the time when Meatloaf had released his 'Bat Out of Hell' album, thanks to my dad, I have grown to love it today. I loved it so much so that when we heard that Bat Out of Hell was being made into a musical and it was coming to Toronto, we just knew we had to go. It did not disappoint! From the very first song to the last, you couldn't help but tap your feet! All the actors were exceptional, and had such strong and fantastic voices, perfect for the kind of songs Meatloaf would sing. The setting of the stage, really gives you a creative visual of a dystopian future, and the story itself will take you on an adventure you will never forget. On top of that, it was nice to see people who were big fans of Meatloaf and Jim Steinman back in the day, with big smiles on their faces, as they saw one of their favourite albums being brought to life. I would highly recommend it to anyone who was debating on seeing it. You will not be sorry.

BAT OUT OF HELL

Seriously the best musical ever. The talent of the actors blew us away, the music is iconic and the way the stage and show was set to the music was absolutely amazing. We loved it! So happy that Ed Mirvish brought this musical to Toronto - a must see! Out of town traveller - take advantage of the accommodation discount when seeing the show, at the Sheraton Centre - amazing hotel, excellent service - we celebrated our anniversary in a wonderful, memorable way. Thank you.

BAT OUT OF HELL

Outstanding performance- very emotional at times. Would consider a high school trip to teach about relationships. So glad to have lived in the time of Meatloaf Would go again in a heartbeat!

PURE ENERGY FROM START TO FINISH

Out of five starts, this show deserves at least a seven. Everything about it is fantastic. The music, of course - Jim Steinman is a legend of a songwriter. The singing - every single member of the cast is better than Meat Loaf. Especially look out for Danielle Steers as the minor character Zahara. When she sings "Baby we can talk all night", everyone in the audience's jaw drops to the floor. Objects In The Rear View Mirror made me tear up despite my life being relatively happy and not personally being able to relate to the words. Bat Out Of Hell the song is incredible, and the special effects help it along. And Paradise By the Dashboard Light is hilarious. There is a lot that's hilarious in this show, and it knows it! It revels in its ridiculousness and excess. The set, I want to mention, is really amazing, and contains little secrets that stun you because you didn't know they were there. Only criticism - the tickets and merch are a bit expensive. Oh! I want to go again. And again!

BAT OUT OF HELL.......AMZING! POWERFUL! UNREAL!

This is one of the best stage shows I have ever seen and I have seen many! The entire show was spellbinding, the effects, dancers, singers, sets, music...The venue is great as were our close Orchestra seats...I can't say enough.I laughed, cried, sang, all of it! A 20 out of 10 rating! I hope to see it again-a cult classic for sure!! This is a great show for teens straight through to seniors. A good bet for a close, reasonably priced restaurant would be Fran's a block away.

INSANE operatic Epic

Bat Out of Hell revs you harder than a Harley Davidson.

A high-octane thrill ride, this epic stage adaptation of the already fairly epic album(s) is utterly irresistible.
