PLANT/KRAUSE REDROCKS 2022

In center row 34 the acoustics were pretty good for an outdoor venue. I was, however, amazed at how POORLY the camera/projection quality was. Besides the early video freeze much of the camera time was spent on the lower half of the drummer between the vocalists-totally botched abd the worst camera work anywhere I’ve been-let alone Redrocks. I would yanked the camera crew after five minutes into the show-incompetent for reasons beyond my comprehension. Vocals and harmonizing excellent. Musicians superb. Wish Ms. Krause would have spoken more but her voice is amazing.

COULDN'T HEAR THE SINGERS DUE TO POOR MIXING, DRUMS, BASS AND GUITAR TOO LOUD. PAINFUL AT TIMES. ONE BATHROOM IN THE FACILITY IS RIDICULOUS. THE SEATS WERE OK, DIDN'T KNOW IF THE SOUND WAS BETTER IN OTHER PLACES.

The video on big screens never showed the bass player. The sound these performers use is minimalist and focused on the harmonies, not feed-back and dominant electric instruments. No where have I seen the mention of inadequate toilet facilities. Obviously the bad reviews aren't posted, but word of mouth still works.

SOUND QUALITY ROW 107

Sound quality was surprisingly bad at row 107, middle section seats. Krauss’ voice at times was distorted by the poor amplification etc. I was also surprised that this duo didn’t do more to recreate the atmosphere of the album Raise the Roof……electric guitar doesn’t figure into much of that album. Some quiet acoustic accompaniment would have allowed us to hear their voices…..I hope

ROBERT PLANT-ZEP FAN

Too much Alison not enough Plant. I felt this concert was more about Alison’s music and Robert Plant was there as her guest. I was expecting to hear the music that made him famous and not a revised version of what was presented. I’ve attended several Robert Plant concerts throughout the years and couldn’t say enough about my experience. This concert was different and definitely not what I was expecting. I was sadly disappointed …but moving forward, I will check reviews and do my research before purchasing tickets.

TOO MUCH ROBERT PLANT, NOT ENOUGH ALISON KRAUSE

Sound quality was not well modulated; outside of the venue it was much better. Drummer visually and sonically overly featured and music in general seemed loud and ponderous, probably to allow Plant time to speak his lyrics. Their voices, when you can hear them, do combine well but it was not much in evidence. They are much better together in a recording studio.

SAD

I don't know what genre of music they are trying to channel? I've heard better melodies in a corner pub. A real let down. Black Dog was butchered. Leave the oldies alone. Write some new stuff and set the hook. Nothing to applaud. Plant and Krause have amazing voices and should be capable of better stuff. Very disappointed. I liked their band opening better. Even that wasn't great. Here again just paying for a name. Oh and lets not forget the $17.00 for a beer! The Pavillion has lost its luster. That alone makes me want to avoid future events at the Pavillion. Takes the fun out of it. Also the lack of variety of beverages. What a joke! Do not waste your time or money...

LIKE A FEMINIST NIGHTMARE

OMG! Alyson barely sang. Plant seemed like an overpowering DB who stole the show to Make it about him. There was no bluegrass, only an old washed up Rocker.
