Edinburgh Fringe Award Winner
His name says it all really. The Boy With Tape On His Face brings the world of silent comedy right up to date with his endlessly inventive mix of prop comedy and vaudeville, all performed with a strip of gaffer tape across his mouth. Utilizing everything from plungers to paper envelopes (and members of the audiences), his shows are packed full of utterly unique routines that you will never see anywhere else. To give you a flavour of what to expect, his past shows have included a wistful and oddly moving lovesong between two oven gloves and a frenetic balloon and tape measure duel.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words
One of New Zealand's top vaudevillian performers, Sam Wills first debuted his silent alter-ego at the 2008 Melbourne Comedy Festival. He's since performed across the globe (the language barrier is never a problem), with several sold-out runs in London's West End and an award winning turn at 2013's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This strictly limited run at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre is his Canadian debut.
