The former X Factor contestants One Direction have become the first British group to go straight to the top of the US music charts with their debut album, Up All Night, which they released back in 2011. Since then the pop-sensation have toured the US and released another album before heading back on a tour of the USA again!

One Direction are a five-member British and Irish boy band made up of Liam Payne , Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and Zayn Malik.

Their voracious fan base, known as "One Direction-ers" have ensured a social media frenzy rivalled only by Justin Bieber's "Bieleibers".
