Pink Floy's classic recreated live on stage, note for note
In 1975 Pink Floyd were faced with the unenviable task of recording a follow up to their masterpiece Wish You Were Here. The result was Animals, an effort which explored Britain's politics and social issues through epics tracks like Pigs on the Wing Pts. 1&2, which bookended the record, and Sheep. The image of a pig balloon floating above London's Battersea Power Station which adorns its cover has become one of the most famous record sleeves of all time.
Now you can experience the magic all over again with Classic Albums Live, a collective of incredibly accomplished musicians who make it their mission to recreate great records from the 60s and 70s note for note. Hear Dogs, Sheep and Pigs (Three Different Ones) played as if Floyd themselves were up on stage.
