Aimee Mann Poster

Aimee Mann

April 26, 2017

Like many a droll, understated songwriter before her, Aimee Mann's music has sometimes been labelled as depressing. In true Aimee Mann fashion, she's combated this falsehood by recording an album of acoustic waltzes called Mental Illness. Opening with the lead single 'Goose Snow Cone', it's a collection of slow acoustic numbers filled with her usual wit and beautiful lyricism.

Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith cut his teeth at his local pub, playing requests and quickly gaining the reputation of being a "one-man jukebox". Ever since then his music has been somewhat of a quiet storm, brewing over the decades to form a reflective and exquisitely crafted brand of folk-pop. Catch him live as he heads out on tour support his highly anticipated 15th studio album 'The Last Rider'.

Currently touring North America, this co-headlining tour between two heavyweight metal legends has been the stuff of metalhead dreams! With thrash band Anthrax supporting their 11th studio album For All Kings (they are due to start recording their 12th this summer following the tour!), metalcore Killswitch Engage are supporting their seventh, named Incarnate. With a blend of different styles of heavy-metal, fans of both groups are in for a treat, with supporting acts The Devil Wears Prada, Jasta and Code Orange opening for them.

Hailing from Sweden, Little Dragon conjure up sleek electro pop suffused with hooks that has grown ever more nuanced over the course of their career. Led by singer Yukimi Nagano, the group first really came to American audiences attention with their guest spots on tracks by Gorillaz and SBTRKT. 2017 sees the band unleash Season High, co-produced alongside Simian Mobile Disco' James Ford.

The legendary Slowdive tour with a brand new album in the works too! This comes after the January release of their single 'Star Riving' - the band's first single in over 20 years! The influential UK outfit rose to prominence in the early 1990s as flag-bearers of the burgeoning shoegaze scene, a dreamy genre of alternative rock that buried its sixties-pop melodies beneath a deep layer of distortion and feedback.
