The acclaimed British post-punk quartet return to American shores
London four-piece Savages gift the world another dose of stark, harrowing post-punk in 2016 with the release of their sophomore record Adore Life. The clenched fist held up in defiance on the sleeve tells you all you need to know. Their music is a manifesto, forging edicts on feminism and independence against a backdrop of angular guitars and urgent basslines that recall Joy Division and Gang of Four. The group's acclaimed debut album Silence Yourself was released in 2013. "It's as relaxing as a Hitchcock murder scene" wrote one memorable review.
