Interpol Concert
What a great show! The crowd was alive singing all the words to every song. Love Love Love. Shout out to Late Night Drive Home an up and coming local band that recently played at Coachella and opened for their hometown. Left the parking lot after 11:00 p.m. A full experience.
Interpol delivers again!
First time I saw Interpol was at Radio City Music Hall in 2011 and really starting getting into the band from that point on. Songs featured came mainly from Our Love to Admire album and some new stuff that was unknown. Saw them again at MSG a few years laters for El PIntor tour and they were phenomenal - sound system/the light show, and the vocals were spot on. Last night at the Beacon, they continued to deliver great songs, new and older ones. I feel the sound at the Beacon was a tad "echo-ey" but nonetheless, superb performance again! The theatre is gorgeous and one has to appreciate the classical look being preserved. You have to really dig the groups' vibe and exploring a new sound that lends a different feeling to the music from their latest album in order to appreciate this band's evolution.
Poor performance
This band sounded way below my expectations, bad performance, poor musicians technique, lack of energy, notorious mistakes, boring show, even annoying at moments. I was expecting a pro band, yet I get a rookie high school band with a good audio engineer and good hardware, but that's it!
