Uniting the biggest names in rock, metal and punk
A star-studded rock lineup awaits at this year's Ticket To Rock, in Toronto. Rise Against, Incubus, Korn, Deftones. Jimmy Eat World and Stone Sour have been confirmed so far in what will be an epic meeting of rockers and metalheads. Punk rockers Rise Against believe that should be about something, railing against political inequality and oppressive social forces with blistering riffs and fist-pumping, no-holds-barred sheer force of will; they will be joined by Deftones, who they have also been touring with this spring and summer.
They aren't the only ones to be touring together and appearing at Tocket To Rock, Incubus have been touring with Jimmy Eats World on their first joint tour together. A new album lies on the horizon for Incubus, whose last album If Not Now, When? hit the airwaves in 2011. Details are scarce at the moment, but fans ware hoping it continues their fine run of form from 2015's Trust Fall Side A EP. Best known for this iconic single The Middle ("It just take some time"), Jimmy Eat World produce an emo-tinged college rock that hits that emotional sweet spot while never getting dragged down in mopiness. Their latest, Integrity Blues, was released in 2016.
